Roscoe Village

Roscoe Village

This neighborhood can be found mostly along Roscoe street, where there is a village feel. Business owners know the names of their neighbors, families stroll through the streets, and the sense of community is almost unparalleled.

Originally, Roscoe Village existed because of Riverview Park- one of the midwest’s most beloved amusement parks. While the park didn’t last, Roscoe Village became a permanent part of the city- a Village within the City.

The neighborhood itself is right along the Chicago River, north of the Kennedy. Single family homes from the early 1900s mix well with new builds, and apartment buildings are smattered throughout the residential areas. So, even though you are in Chicago, you will always feel like you are home in the village.
